asiansention, just read more of your article and i swear your predictino sounds just like the first fight

i think their no way they can go through 11 rounds of brutal action as they did their first fight, the second fight would have ended before round ten, and by ko at the hands of castillo

Yeah, thats what I was thinking. When both of these men make weight, they are pretty much even fighters. You may have thought Castillo would have won, but I give the edge to Corrales. It could go either way, the first fight was as even as it can get when there is a KO. Whatever my pick was, its inconsequential now. Castillo doesn't make weight.

i think if you try to even out the props to both fighters a bit more it would look better, also you point out one bad you have to point out the other bad of the other fighter.

you keep attacking castillo really overlooked corrales mouth spitting and an unbiased writer would not call their 2nd fight a sour taste in the fans mind, unless you are a corrales fan, but then that would make you biased toward your fighter.

both fights were great, any unbiased fan can tell you this. some of my friends who watched the fight with me on ppv, jumped out of their set as did everybody else in the room, and after words it was just how great a fight it was, then after a few beers, then it was oh, castillo had an advantage, oh i could tell corrsles wasn't as strong. and this is bs cause i felt corrales was the strong fighter but less resistant to castillos punch because of their first fight.

to say castillo would of gone down if he'd made weight is unbelivable.
I dunno if Im a newb, but the fact that Castillo hadn't made lightweight in over a year, and puts on 15 pounds overnight would suggest hes outgrown 135. I don't know who my fighter is, I don't really like either fighter too much. The fact of the matter is that Corrales makes weight, Castillo doesn't. Plain and simple, Castillo isn't a lightweight.

I really enjoy when people make statements like "any unbiased fan can tell you this" or "a real fight fan would think so." Thats how some people attempt to sway public perception of what is being said in their favor. Impressionable people hear these statements and are coerced subconsciously into falling into their opinions because "any biased fan can tell you this." Last week, I covered the Montiel-Gonzalez fight for another site, and I was disappointed in Montiel's lack of aggression in the latter rounds of a fight that he needed to step up big in. During the telecast, Max Kellerman kept saying "A true boxing fan will appreciate this." You know what was the most frequent statement made by people hating on my writing? The same comments that Max Kellerman was making on the telecast. You think I'm not going to see that these guys just hear what they hear from the commentators and repeat it in an attempt to seem intellectual?

When you are a boxing writer, everyone wants to clown on you in an attempt to make themselves seem intelligent, similar to a heckler at a comedy show. I analyze everyones retorts, but I am discouraged sometimes by the lack of objectional, nonbiased fans who disagree with my articles. But thus is the way of the world.
