Comments like this is what is going to get people to hate on Lomachenko. Lomachenko is very talented but he still has much to prove.

If Lomachenko beats Mikey you can make a case he's the best P4P. He has the talent but not the resume yet.

I'm with you on that one. Some people juse refuse to see he has a loss. And to a guy who has lost more than a DOZEN times at that???

P4P #1's don't lose to guys with like 14 losses and isn't even a top P4P top 50...

The talent doesn't match the resume. We just don't declare some P4P #1 based on potential. You can't overlook the Salido loss either. With that being said, I think he will be top 5 soon. He just needs a win over someone like Garcia.

Well, the talent doesn't match the resume, because he has less than 10 fights.
Salido loss was a humbling moment for him, the same like his amateurs lost to Selimov.
He won't lose again in pros, I am pretty much sure about it. And he will make all these stars look ordinary, and people will justify it with ring rust, weight problems, age, horoscope you name it.
I hope he will fight more often, though, and this old fox Arum will make meaningful fights for him, unlike Sosa fight.

But he needs to show those great skills against another skilled boxer that is considered on his level like Mikey Garcia, Rigo. He's up there, but I wouldn't anoint him #1 by default. He showed a lot of Gary Russell. But, I don't think he's #1 at the moment.
