Loma is way better than Chocolatito.

    Just compare:

    Loma vs Gary Russell Jr.

    Chocolatito vs Carlos Cuadras.

Gary is a Little better than Cuadras and Loma destroyed him easily, and González had a Lot of problems with Cuadras in a very hard and conpetitive fight.

If you're basing it on talent, no problem. He's also got a couple of excellent wins.

He looks dazzling when there's no resistance in front of him. I'm not gonna sit here and say he hasn't fought anybody. Because he's reduced a couple really good fighters in Russell and Walters into bad sparring partners. But his lone fight where everything basically didn't go his way, he didn't respond all that well. At this point, Salido is probably too shopworn for Lomachenko to legitimately avenge that loss. So its gonna take me seeing him beat a guy like Mikey to make me completely forget the Salido blemish.

The talent doesn't match the resume. We just don't declare some P4P #1 based on potential. You can't overlook the Salido loss either. With that being said, I think he will be top 5 soon. He just needs a win over someone like Garcia.

Well, the talent doesn't match the resume, because he has less than 10 fights.
Salido loss was a humbling moment for him, the same like his amateurs lost to Selimov.
He won't lose again in pros, I am pretty much sure about it. And he will make all these stars look ordinary, and people will justify it with ring rust, weight problems, age, horoscope you name it.
I hope he will fight more often, though, and this old fox Arum will make meaningful fights for him, unlike Sosa fight.

I like him but his biggest wins are very similar to Mikey Garcia's.

You can't elevate one guy without also elevating the other.

That's not about judges though, getting punched in the nuts constantly is painful and unquestionably takes a toll. When it's happening constantly, you're going to feel it.

He was starting and ending combinations with low blows all fight, it's part of how he was getting in.

Loma is not there yet. I place him personally as 7. He has the tools to be #1 for sure
