They can't fight for shit
All they know how to do is eat potatoes and smelly cabbage.
As soon as they step in with a slick American boxer they are done. Easy UD.
Too stiff and without their Russian steroids they are nothing. -

They make their living fighting so they aren't cowards. So some of them turn pro at a late age. So what? Some boxers from all nationalities and all races turn pro at a late age. Spence turned pro at a somewhat late age and just look at him kick ass. Crawford also got off to a somewhat late start. Rigo turned pro at a very old age. Does that somehow make him a coward? I don't think The word coward shouldn't be used to describe pro boxers.Comment

Because in a lot of these Eastern European countries, the Government takes care of you. Staying in the amateurs is equivalent to having a stipend of $50k per year. Also consider that they get free health insurance, they get a free apartment/housing, all paid for by the government. Pro fighters don't get those benefits.
Take Hasanboy Dusmatov as an example. He won the gold medal in the flyweight division and instead of turning pro, he's going back to the amateurs to try for another medal.Comment
