stevensons manager haymon has a deal with barclays center which owns a new arena in newyork where stevenson is fighting.... Haymon and pbc picked joe smith but his greedy ass promoter thought he had the right to control the venue and ticket sales like he was the a side..... Haymon and pbc told him to go to hell and picked the next best guy that sells tickets in new york.... Its not rocket science.... For months the boxing media has been saying joe smith vs seanie is a great fight... So why cant stevenson fight him instead???? Enough with these transparent double standards.....

Stevenson and haymon picked joe smith first until his promoter said he wanted to control all the ticket sales and venue bussiness....haymon already had a deal with barclays who owns this new arena so picking the 2nd biggest ticket seller in NY was the natural choice.... joe smith over estimated his bargaining power and now he has no big fight lined up.....Comment

yvon michel is supposed to be stevenson's promoter. Promoters don't wait to learn the details (time & place) of an event from a fighter's manager. It's completely backwards. You could almost assume that haymon is the promoter and yvon michel is just the lowly manager, but that can't be true because pbc would never violate "the muhammad ali act", and honorable men like yvon michel and lou dibella would never help them do so. was looking forward to barrera putting a boxing clinic on beterbiev, shame they didn't want to pay himComment

This is what happens when promoters have too much control in the world of boxing. I wish more boxers would work towards controlling their own destiny & promoters just put on the f#cking fights vs trying to maximize every angle they can. Too much business bs in a sport with boxing these days.Comment

Or his own promoter could throw more money his way, but Main Events only offered him 10k more which wasn't acceptable to him either. Funny thing is its probably his 3rd best payday so idk what all the money drama is about unless he's thinking about cashing out.Comment

Koelling chickened out once already at the first IBF Mando run down... Now he's willing... Let's wait before saying Yeah !Comment
