Some people are ****ing ****** when they say they hope Chavez comes in overweight in order to give him a better chance to win. I'm sure you know the million dollar per pound penalty that Chavez has in his contract. If he comes in overweight and loses then he still has to pay the million dollar per pound penalty. Think about it

I don't think you understand boxing. Canelo is not ducking. He is preparing himself for the 160lb division. Chavez jr. is just a stepping stone with value.

I feel like he's getting under Canelo's skin. This fight is going to be heated on both sides come the day.

Ggg asking for 164 for Ward was even more hilarious. "154-168 ez"

My hope is that fight plays out like Cotto/Margarito 1.

Canelo being Cotto and Chavez being Margarito; and Canelos knees it vs Chavez.

True. A lot has to do with Canelo's age and maturity level. Hopefully Chavez Jr. will make it a good fight but Golden Boy probably confident in a win for Canelo. They don't take fights anymore without having a sure thing going for them. I wouldn't count Chavez out completely but I think the outcome of this fight is a foregone conclusion.

Well, Canelo seems to be a little slow mentally, or he just wants to fire up the fight, pretending there is actually a big personal hatred between each other. I mean if Chavez Jr. is being interviewed for a television show, news publication or whatever, that is not talking behind his back, that is just telling his opinion about Canelo's behavior as a professional fighter. So now, Canelo will require to be invited to the conversation, every time Chavez Jr. is being interviewed and asked his opinion about Canelo running away from GGG, and just saying what he truly feels (that Canelo is ducking GGG which is pretty evident). What does Canelo want, for Chavez Jr. to go knock on his door and tell him hey dude, you are freaking ducking GGG, and I am telling that to your face, so there! That's absolutely ridiculous. Chavez Jr. is gonna fight him, even drain himself into a corpse for that matter, which proves HE IS NOT afraid of Canelo in the least. Chavez Jr. has challenged GGG and would fight him any time, a thing that Canelo has purposely avoided time and time again.

He should simply start doing the same, say Chavez Jr. is a total bum and a quitter because he quit on the stool vs. Fonfara, and he looked pathetic vs. a much smaller Martinez. If he is getting under your skin, do the same, little redhead, instead of just complaining about it to others!
