So if I got this right, the WBA is eliminating the lowest of it's three belts first, i guess. Love this matchup, big jump for Murata, if he wins I want to see him against any of the top middleweights.

Murata has no upper body movement. He doesn't slip punches, he goes into a shell and waits out attacks. I don't think he'll go too far like that.

Boxing is so damaged lol. The sanctioning bodies can do whatever they want. "blabla we want to get rid of the regular titles.... wait, we are losing revenue if we do so. Scratch that."

And then we have WBC giving Stiverne a mandatory spot for doint.... what exactly?

N'Dam needs to knock him out or dominate cause it will most likely be hard to win a decision in Japan against a Japanese fighter.

How can Murata fight for a regular WBA title when Jacobs just had it and lost it to GGG?

So the winner of this fight becomes mandatory to GGG?

If so, Hassan ain't gonna fight GGG if he wins. Not sure about Murata though.

Less than 3 weeks after GGG beats Jacobs for the 'regular' title the WBA already has it's next fight planned for said title. Remember when the WBA said it was cleaning up the title mess and eliminating regular title holders and interim title holders? Lol disgrace.

I agree with everyone about the ******ity of the endless "regular" and "interim" belts but it doesn't help that the people who write articles on boxingscene and other sites act as if these are legitimate titles. They are promoting the lie of the paper belts
