I like how they are managing Devin Haney career so far.....

He should continue fighting in Mexico and get experience mastering & fighting against the mexican style........he should boast his records to a 30-0 fighting in Mexico before fighting for a title in a couple of years....similar to Canelos career....he is only 18 yr old so he got time....

Why the f#ck is he still fighting in Mexico btw? I thought it was about his age, but since he turned 18 all 3 of his fights have been in Mexico. Haney's dad doing deals with the Mexican cartels & using his son as a cover or what?

Respect on his activity doe. Pro for 16 months & he's 14-0 (10).

He has his own YouTube channel that is pretty entertaining when he puts up videos. He literally just turned 18 they should keep him active for at least 2 or 3 more years. I agree, a solid 30 fights before he goes for a belt.

Seems like apart from his last fight for the youth title his more competitive fights so far have happened in the USA

I don't think this type of record padding is very useful at all, personally. If he'd remained an amateur he'd be facing a much higher level of opposition right now

He's 18.. Let him continue to build his career where he's comfortable at. Mexico, Central America, the States or wherever. There's plenty of time for him to come back to the States and step up in competition. I'm really interested in his career to see what comes of padding his stats this early in his career.
