  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: I'm on Another Level Than Anthony Joshua!

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) believes he is on another level when compared to IBF champion Anthony Joshua (18-0, 18 KOs). The two Olympic medal winners would love to collide in the near future - in what is shaping up to be one of the biggest fights to make in boxing. Wilder knocked out undefeated Gerald Washington in February and wants to have at least two more fights before the year is over.

You sure are on another level... while Joshua is fighting Klitschko you are fighting (insert bum here). Either fight someone good or stfu please. Talk is cheap when your resume ain't deep!

Wilder fights at his opponents level, the best Wilder I've seen is against Stiverne and Arreola, he looked horrible against Molina a guy who Arreola stopped in one round, so we won't know until fight night, I think Wilder can easily out box Joshua like he did Stiverne, just jab and stay on the back foot with an occasional right hand

You know I've noticed that as well. When Wilder fought Washington and Szpilka he looked bad. When he fought Arreola and Stiverne he looked more disciplined and technically better. But oh boy Wilder, I love ya but you're not as technically sound as Joshua. Fighting on the level of your competition or opponent can be dangerous at times. Joshua is always fighting at a high level. We definitely disagree though on you saying that Wilder can easily outbox Joshua? Like he did with Stiverne? Lol, heck no. You know Joshua is 6'6", stronger and imo boxes better than Wilder and is technically more sound. I mean it would be a great fight, not an easy fight for either guy. They both can crack and knock each other out. It's a matter of who gets that big shot off first. Right now I favor Joshua if they fought. But anything can happen, they both have big power. Wilder knows as he says in this interview that the big fight is Wilder vs Joshua, he agrees and so does the majority of the world. I hope these two fight soon in what would be a fun, exciting fight.

100% truth. Deontay Wilder is more proven than any other HW champion, these guys want to live off one win over the same common opponent thats a relic in the sport - this guy is old enough to be your grandfather ; I'll let you morons fill in the blanks, heres some clues : I'm talking about three people for starters, one is a drug addict bipolar schizophrenic cheater, the other one is body builder/boxer hype-job and the last one is one of the most dirtiest HW in history who single handily killed the division for over a decade.

Yes, a level below until you fight someone with a real pulse. Even Breazeale would be a treat at this point, but WBC orders crappy Stiverne rematch.

Then you've got Wilder who has fought next to nobody for 38 fights & has probably the weakest technical skills i've ever seen from any Heavyweight champ in history, don't worry though, you'll see Joshua Ko him next year if he decides to cash his chin in and accept the fight.
