Dude serious Floyd and the man in my avatar do not belong in the same sentence. EVER! With all due respect mofo's tried to kill Jack after his matches, Floyd at the worst had an expletive or two hurled his way. We'll agree to disagree on who buys his ppv though, I see things differently. It's the same way mofo's try to say Lebron is better than Jordan, different era with different rules. Don't act like an entire arena was trying to kill Floyd like they did Jack Johnson. When have they ever emptied an entire arena before Floyd could leave the ring? Never. Yeah America is racist but it was also a fk ton easier to get away with killing a black man in 1907/1908 during the Jeffries days. He got more death threats than just from one guy. I've met people who said they were there in Jersey the night Floyd fought Gatti and you could cut the racial tension with a knife that night it was so thick. Just because Floyd made it out of Jersey alive does not mean that there weren't people who would have had his head if they could have. Jack Johnson also made it safe out of plenty of fight arenas it doesn't change the fact that there were people who were out to get his head. Also, you can still get away with killing a black person today, especially if you have a badge, or in George Zimmerman's case if you have a good defense attorney.

Just two weeks ago a white guy went to NYC with the specific purpose of killing a black man and he succeeded. This was TWO weeks ago. Try telling the victim's family that the racial climate is nothing like it used to be. Try telling the victims of the South Carolina church massacre that comparing the racism of today with the racism of yesteryear is a "laughing matter" as you put it. I swear you must be living under a rock.
