may vs mcgregor is a bs fight and I think it sort of makes Floyd look bad for entertaining the fight. But I also agree all these other boxers and there handlers talking down on the fight would take it too in a heartbeat.

But Sadly mcgregor is a boxers dream. Extremely low risk and a extremely high reward.

supply and demand. hate all you want there is a demand for this fight to take place. they'll be ****** to leave potentially $300 mill on the table to not insult people like Abel Sanchez. and no it's not a slap to boxing. was James Toney getting in the octagon a slap to UFC? on the contrary they celebrated that as if Toney was a legit contender.

when Floyd was getting called out people called him scared for not responding. now he's making it happen and these same people are calling him a bully. if this fight never happens Mcgregor will never stop running his mouth. besides MMA fans genuinely believe he has a chance so if anything it brings more viewers to the sport of boxing.

Agree. I'm starting to think hating Golovkin by some on this forum stems from racial bias and nothing more. It's a sad commentary really. People claiming Golovkin has only faced bums don't really know what they're watching. Period. And as far as Floyd goes they don't call him "Money Mayweather" for nothing. Floyd really doesn't have to answer to anyone but himself. He's retired and when he's sees a money grab he's going to grab it. When Mayweather looks at himself in the mirror he knows what's looking back at him.

Anaheim, CA - Argentina's David Emanuel 'El Pirata' Peralta, (26-2-1, 14 KOs) shockingly defeated former world champion Robert "The Ghost Guerrero, (33-5-1, 18 KOs) by 12-round split decision in the main event of Premier Boxing Champion (PBC) on Spike Saturday night from the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Boxing slaps itself in the face all the time who gives a f#ck. Either boxing is a every man for himself sport like Floyd is taking advantage of here or someone needs to start a league of elite fighters that'll make all the best fights. You can't have it both ways. You can't dog a guy over grabbing money who has appeal beyond you & your guy when you are grabbing money to the extent with which you can grab it now. And thats virtually everyones plan these days to varying degrees & with varying success.

Also Abel is a f#cking moron on his best day so the less he talks the better it is for everyone.

Relative to other top fighters out there, GGG's resume is subpar. Its not all his fault, but the resume is what it is.

To my knowledge when Tony went over to the UFC it wasn't on ppv. And I bet they are going to try and charge 100 dollars for the may vs Mcgregor fight. And Floyd gets called out all the time by boxers and he never responded back like he did against mcgregor. For boxing fans it looks like a very expensive cherry pick.

If anything Canelo choosing Smith, Khan, and Chavez over the fight everyone wanted is more so. A glass jawed 135/140 fighter that never really succeeded at 147.

What Floyd will do is sell this fight as a true contest, millions if people will buy it. A good even could help the sport. Another Manny-Floyd event could do boxing more damage.

But it's not a shocker, the Floyd era seen boxing go from ruling combat sports to being the sport most sports fans think is corrupt and about as real as WWF.

Great job Floyd, when boxing begins to recover from your BS, come kick it in the nuts again.

Can't wait until this guy is done from boxing.
Can you read? I'm talking about Khan and Brook. They both were welterweights and Khan not even a real welterweight. That's you opinion. Boxing is still the most popular combat sport and Floyd has a lot to do with it. And what exactly is boxing recovering from? Fighters still making more money than MMA. MMA copied boxing blueprint from ring girls to scoring system. They'll never be bigger than boxing, heĺl I don't even think MMA is recognized as a real sport in the Olympics lmao
Boxing is so much bigger than MMA that you have its biggest star trying to copy a black boxer lol... He want to be Floyd so bad that hes now switching his professions lmao MMA biggest stars can't keep Floyd or boxing oh of their mouths. That's how you know boxing is bigger. Now what you can't stand is a outspoken black man earning more money than your entire bloodline will ever earn. If you want you can go be a UFC fan and watch skinheads dry hump no one's stopping you. Don't matter because all their stars really want to be boxers.

Julio Cesar Chavez fought Ramon Aaramburu in his 66 fight. His record was 0-1 at that time. BUt yet everyone considers him the greatest and compare his 87-0 record to Floyd's. But yet never bring up all them fighters Chavez was fighting who were making the'r debut or had under 5 fights. Floyd is 40 retired, Conor wants to get in the ring with him then what's wrong with Floyd taking that fight and making millions.

its ok for Cotto to fight GGG leftovers, and now they want to line up cu-ntnella with lemueix - how is GGG resume subpar then?
