I agree plenty about MMA vs Boxing with you. Lets not forget Ray Mercer went from Boxing to KOing a former UFC champ in their cage. But I do want to see Canelo fight GGG and I feel and stated plenty that he can win. I just want that fight to go down cuz the best ahould fight the best

Top WW have been jumping up to fight Top MW for 100 years. Just because you didn't like it. It didn't hurt boxing, it was a fairly successful event.

If anything Canelo choosing Smith, Khan, and Chavez over the fight everyone wanted is more so. A glass jawed 135/140 fighter that never really succeeded at 147.

What Floyd will do is sell this fight as a true contest, millions if people will buy it. A good even could help the sport. Another Manny-Floyd event could do boxing more damage.

But it's not a shocker, the Floyd era seen boxing go from ruling combat sports to being the sport most sports fans think is corrupt and about as real as WWF.
