No he doesnt, don't be ******. Know your boxing first. Win or lose, canelo will snap off combinations that Golovkin has yet to see, amateur or professional. You severely underestimate a guy who's been in the ring with golovkin before and at 19 years old kovalev himself said was 50/50Last edited by Metho_4u; 04-01-2017, 11:14 PM.Comment

for that lame unprofessional 155 bullshht ?
yep
but did I blame Canelo when Mr "anyone from 154-168" shat the bed and totally refused to negotiate on weight with a fat little red SUPERSTAR who has never faced a middleweight opponent and never weighed more than 155?
no, of course not..... only a special group or people decided that was a good idea
Mr " anyone from 154-168 " needed to be a man of his word and negotiate with Canelo..... just like Hopkins did with Trinidad/Hoya
and it wasn't just Canelo..... a guy who can beat " anyone from 154-168 " should not have refused to negotiate with SUPERSTARS like Cotto and Canelo
now we see that Golovkin struggles with skilled boxers/movers..... and now we hear Abel Sanchez state that Golovkin has no regard for legacy and will only fight "if it happens on his terms"
come on man, the jig is upComment

Yes! That's exactly what i'm asking. I don't think there's a fighter @ 160 that could help GGG gain leverage. Maybe a Saunders fight in the UK? I don't know what kind of support Saunders has. I think a CW fight with DeGale or Zurdo (in early June) would be best!Comment

Had he told froch "ok we'll take 172 lbs over there" He'd have a lot more pull now...likely would've made 8 figures as well.Last edited by Metho_4u; 04-02-2017, 10:09 AM.Comment

The problem I have with that is why should DeGale or Ramirez (both big guys and belt holders at 168) have to come down? Golovkin wasn't willing to move down for anyone save for Floyd because he thought that fight would make him more money than Canelo (not happening) while he should've moved his azz down since he has no issue making 160 to make his biggest payday. He avoided it. That's why hes in this position now.

My dad who hasn't watched a fight he set out to watch since SRL v Hagler talks about ggg v Canelo.
Everyone who buys Canelo/Chavez will also buy ggg/Canelo. But add even more.
Many more will watch ggg v Canelo.
And even though money from everywhere else doesn't count for USA ppv, ggg fights do good numbers world wide.
GGG isn't the normal Canelo opponent, if he were we wouldn't be talking about Canelo still ducking the fight two years later.
The trick here is that people who won't buy Canelo vs Chavez Jr. will buy Canelo vs GGG, in fair honesty I will buy both, hoping that DLH doesn't pull a bull**** move and finally lets Canelo fight GGG in Sep.
Being honest I think that Canelo vs Chavez and Canelo vs GGG will sell about the same.Comment

His maid lmao another Mexican casual you just made my point. Except with ggg it atttacts everyone plus that same Mexican crowd. Mexicans will buy anything to do with canelo we have already established that but when a casual sees ggg vs canelo as opposed to Jacobs who the casual doesn't know he's gonna want to see the canelo ggg cause he knows both. Then you got the ggg fans and other boxing fans who's been waiting for canelo to stop ducking the last 2 years that will buy.
You're out your mind if you think a slack like Chavez has more buzz then ggg, maybe you know nothing but Mexicans try asking a white or black guy about that Chavez fight no one cares.
I bet you If Canelo had fought Jacobs he would've drew 350k minium, the double, Canelo vs GGG is the fight we the hardcores wanna see, I don't think that fight would break 1 mill ppv the market has gone downhill sinece May vs Pac.
PD
I've asked white and black friends about the fight and they are interested, you can't assume everything is like you want it to be. peace.Comment

DeGale had a poor showing vs. Jack. Zurdo has been begging for GGG, so he should be willing to do what Chavez Jr. is doing to have a mega-fight! I think it's in their own interest, unless DeGale gets Zurdo to come to the UK, and then they really don't need GGG. Even then, i'm not sure DeGale vs. Zurdo is as lucrative as either one of them facing GGG!Comment

I thought Jack won, but either way, DeGale @ 168 is more than just being lucrative...it's also about golovkin gaining respect that he has imo lost A LOT of with big talk and no follow through. Fighting DeGale @ 168 and assuming he wins makes him then a 2 weight champ, and gives him the respect of going up a division to take on a challenge. That imo would add to him getting more money. Fans would see him fight against the the UK, he gets a better payday than he can here, he gets more UK exposure. They are not appearing to want to fight Saunders for whatever reason (I guess waiting on canelo), but if he's not going to rematch Danny, there's really not many options. You can't say 154-168 and then demand a cw in a place where you're not a draw. Golovkin has seriously run out of bums and options. Why do people think they are NOW mentioning ward? Because he's got a rematch coming up, and 168 is very hard for him to make. Mentioning ward now means nothing. They aren't serious. Tom has f'd golovkins career when it comes to legacy and big money fights.Comment
