GGG is basically in the same position Floyd was in heading into the DLH fight. Floyd had a couple reasonably successful PPVs under his belt. But nothing that gave him any kinda leverage in negotiations with Oscar. So he basically had to accept whatever offered. In hindsight, Oscar doubled anything he'd ever done before and after in terms of revenue with Floyd. So logic says Floyd wasn't your typical run of the mill B-sider. But going in, he had no room to do anything but what Oscar told him in order to make the fight happen.

Just because Floyd accepted less than he was worth to fight DLH doesn't mean everyone else should. Is it nice he did? Sure, but I wouldn't have blamed him if he held out for more.
