I just have to question your comment of relevance when Canelo first stated in the post fight that he'd fight him, and then dropped the belt. Max Kellerman says Canelo probably wanted the fight, but Golden Boy didn't think he was ready. Relevance is a fart in a stiff wind at this point.
Travycat, don't forget that a $15 million + offer was on the table for September 2017 not September 2021. That went out the window when GGG's mystique went out the window with the Jacobs fight and when it is now estimated that there were less than 120,000 PPVs.

Lol what? What title was on the line vs Kirkland? If a boxer doesn't want to pay the sanctioning fee he doesn't pay it, it's that simple. Try again.

      Also:

Golovkin is such a "small middleweight" that he's scared ****less of even the idea of having to weigh in at 158lbs for any fight.
What point are you trying to make here? Even the biggest GGG haters have conceded he's a small MW.

Of-course Canelo is going to make more now because he is the cash cow in boxing, an A-side boxer, and a star in boxing. Canelo became a bigger star and had his biggest wins in his career after the Mayweather fight.

Of course will, Mayweather was the A side. Now he is the A side against G. Duh!

Loeffler is basically highlighting that Canelo was more willing to make concessions in order to become an established ppv attraction than GGG.

If he's such a small middleweight, what is he so fearful of fighting below even 159lbs?

Michel isn't all that big a middleweight and, because he doesn't have the TV backing, he and his camp are ready and willing to take whatever good fight offered to him, at 154lbs and at 160lbs.

Alvarez made 154lbs, even naked on the scales, and still fought his ass off, with no fatigue from cutting the weight.

This is really indefensible, I don't know how this guy retains his position. Anyone else would have been fired for this kind of incompetence. He's probably an okay guy just operating above his pay grade. He has no business managing these negotiations.

he is following Golovkin's instructions explicitly

throwing Loeffler under a bus will not remove the blame from Golovkin

                    1) Golovkin is 100% responsible/accountable for the words/actions of his official representatives

                    2) if Golovkin was not 100% happy with his team, then he would change them, just like MANY other fighters have done

                    3) Golovkin has never contradicted a word that they have said, and is clearly the most "well-managed" (protected) fighter in the sport today

Golovkin is more than happy with the extremely wise risk/reward decisions that have been made throughout his career, as they have turned him into a very wealthy man

Sanchez admitted that Golovkin has no regard for legacy

                    7.00'ish

you guys need to stop drinking the kool-aid

I don't know the reason for it, he might be doing it out of principal or whatever but saying he's fearful of fighting at 159 is inane given his fight night weight.

Anyways, you demonstrated how little you know about boxing with the sanction fee excuse so moving on...
