Kessler may still be able to be competitive at Euro level and perhaps make a tiny bit of noise at 168. But he would be toast at 175 with some of the killers there. If he wants a world title he should go after Zeuge at 168

Fight was in England, Froch had the favorable scorecards, it was a while ago, so people may go look at boxrec and compubox and just forget that it was competitive and skip rewatching the fight. I know it was a competitive fight with lots of close rounds that people didn't even know who to give it to, some were just giving it to Froch because of more activity.
is your strategy to now say every fight is close so that you can excuse the ward-kov robbery? you could be right but the first fight was actually much closer.

After 4 years of inactivity I wouldn't send him to 175, there are dangerous lions there.

Ward, Kovalev, Beterbiev, Cleverly, Fonfara, Gvozdyk, Barrera, Chilemba, Pascal, LHW is a deep division and Kessler never fought above 168, plus 168 is kind of weak right now.

Ward-Kov was not a robbery, Ward won it by 1 point, which seems accurate imo. If you had Kovalev winning, good for you, i'm not mad. It may have been a tough fight to score and if you think the KD did it for you, then put it down in your notepad as a W for Kovalev.

I've been an avid "draw giver" since years before the Ward-Kovalev fight. For example I always said JMM-Pac 2 could've easily been a Draw, when I hated Pac and everyone was saying JMM got robbed. I also always said JMM-Bradley was a draw even live. that was way before the Ward-Kovalev fight.

As longs as he stays at 168 and don't try to venture up to 175 he might be ok.

Absolutely. If he can make 168 still, then he could MAYBE make a couple of waves. At 175, it won't end in voluntary retirement - it will end in forced retirement.

He should fight Abraham. two guys from the super 6 that never fought and are both up there in age.

I've always been a Kessler fan, but i'm not sure this is the best idea. He's been out a long time.

Stevenson gave him trouble in Spaaaarring! he he! Maybe he can settle that one.

                      Stevenson is 39.
