Comments Thread For: Luis Ortiz Favors Klitschko to Beat Joshua; Wants Winner Next

NEW YORK Luis Ortiz hopes to fight the winner of the highly anticipated Anthony Joshua-Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight showdown. Ortiz made that more than clear Thursday, when he came to Manhattan to promote his April 22 bout against Derric Rossy. The powerful Cuban southpaw isn't overlooking Rossy (31-12, 15 KOs), but he expects to win their fight impressively at Brooklyn's Barclays Center to make sure he can continue moving toward the type of championship challenges he really wants.

Ortiz is right. Klitschko will knock Joshua spark out and the butthurt will be hilarious.

I also agree that Ortiz beats both of them. The only man capable of beating the real king kong is Tyson 2fast Fury.

Hopefully we see Ortiz in a real fight this year. This guy gets d1cked around.

I'm happy with Ortiz against Wlad, AJ or Wilder.

I definitely agree with experience over youth and inexperience. In this case it may be an example of too much experience with being 41 years old. The mind says yes but the body says no. Can't pull the trigger, reflexes are off. So with that being said I believe youth triumphs here because of too much experience (age and wear and tear) on Grandpa Klitschko.

king kong better not go another route after talking up a big game.. Wlad vs Ortiz would be much easier for Wlad than Wlad vs Joshua..

Man, you guys are idiots hahahahah. AJ will wipe the floor with this Klitschko, literally. Klitschko has always had problems with taller fighters and now that he can't even pull the trigger on his punches, it will be even worse. This will be a passing of the torch fight and Fury will be FURYOUS afterwards but too fat and caught up in his steroids case to do anything about it hahaha. Wilder will somehow get out of fighting Stiverne again and he'll end up fighting someone in the top 50 like usual. Ortiz is a good fighter but he is not the beast of the division that everyone is making him out to be. He's very beatable and old age is catching up to him. Look at both Ortiz and Klitschko's last couple of fights. Wladimir lost the last one and looked horrific in the Jennings fight. And he's been out of the ring for almost two years now hahhaha. Ortiz he KOed Allen but it took him 7 rounds to do it. How quick would Joshua dispose of this dude? Before that there was the fight against Malik Scott and that fight set heavyweight boxing back 30 years it was so bad hahahahaha.

I honestly can't picture a way Klitschko is winning this fight.

Joshua should win this fight easy. Klitchko is old and passed his prime, slow, slow, slow, won't be fighting a smaller opponent he can grab and hang on to and has a very, very suspect chin.

Why would Ortiz sign with Haymon if he doesn't want Wilder next?
