for the first 11-or-so defences of his " reign ", Golovkin defended the WBA "regular" title..... he was not the genuine WBA champ

seriously, how is it possible for the WBA to have more than one champion?.....

they had three champions during that time-frame.....

* regular
* interim

how is it possible for three fighters to make WBA title defences simultaneously?

before Golovkin fought Jacobs..... the regular "champ" Danny Jacobs was OBVIOUSLY not the REAL WBA middleweight champ, Golovkin was..... so how is it possible to refer to Golovkin as the REAL WBA champion back when he was only holding the "regular" title, just like Jacobs..... ?

it is disrespectful - both to the sport of boxing, and to fighters like Hopkins - to allow the standards within boxing to plummet because of greed/corruption

Ward wanted nothing to do with GGG when he was actively fighting at 168, Virgil who knows Ward best said Ward is still a Supermiddle, so it shouldnt be a problem to fight GGG at 168 after GGG decides to move up.

Thats all a big "IF Ward gets another gift decision vs Kovalev", if there's no corruption involved, there's no way Ward beats Kovalev again. When justice is served in June, Ward will become irrelevant again.

The truth right now is that Jacobs didn't edge Golovkin even if it was a close fight, I know with the performance from GGG's last fight that he will not beat Ward, the only way is if that body of his suddenly grows to SMW and I hardly see that happening, and if that where to happen I do believe that GGG can get the upset, because we know Ward is no Jacobs in punching power, so is something that Golovkin wont respect that much and will put all the pressure in the world like only he know how to, right now there is no MW fighter better than Golovkin, so the people who say that it is a fake record, he has fought with the best that the division has, when Canelo officially becomes a MW and they do fight, we will see who is the better fighter.
