Loeffler knows he's not fighting Ward for many reason....

Loeffler knows GGG has no chance to beat Ward not to mention it would make far less money than his other options. I want to see GGG vs Ward however if I'm Loeffler, we hope for Canelo fight if not GGG can make way more fighting Saunders, Ramirez, Eubanks or Degale with less risk. We would only fight Ward after all those options have been exhausted which would put fighting Ward out to 2019. Fight will never happen.

Or, they could pull a Dawson and just concede the weight right off the bat. Yeah, that worked out real good for Chad......

diminutive gee don't want this fight...never did...not now...not in the future
Am I the only one who noticed that Loeffler mad a Ward fight contingent on him beating Kovalev in the rematch?

This fight ain't happening. K2 is taking a page from Bob Arum's playbook on this.
First Loffler says we'll fight him at 168, but he ends with depending on how Ward looks against Kovalev in the rematch. So basically what he's saying is , if Ward blows Kovalev out or looks hella good, we won't fight him. But if the fight is a mirror of Ward Kovalev 1 or Kovalev blows Ward out, we'll fight Ward.

K2 ain't doing nothing but talking

k2 didn't want ward a year and half ago...they certainly don't want him after watching him take kovalevs shot and get up and beat him...they wont want any in the future either unless ward gets put in a coma before that

these guys put the idea of ward off till he left for 175 for good.....they know he gotta fight kova again....it would be MINIMUM a year wait before ward would have to get on that scale to make 168...they think theres next to 0 chance he can do it by then

loeffler, per usual, talks a big game

It's only negotiating when you actually concede something. Like they did on money to make the Jacobs fight.
it wasnt a "negotiation" when Dawson said he would fight at 168. But Ward still held him to that statement and refused to budge on weight. Believe me, anything that gets said these days, even off the cuff stuff, gets thrown back in someones face if they finally do get to the negotiating table.....

do you think Ward losing to Kov in a rematch suddenly makes him more marketable or something? OF COURSE it would be predicated on him beating Kovalev.

K2 won't let this happen. If there was ever any doubt that Ward would dominate ggg, it should have been removed by the Jacobs fight. Ward beats the living **** out of ggg.
