The ironic thing is that Loma trains at the Garcia gym in Oxnard. Robert has seen him train and seen all his habits. It would be a good fight and as skilled as Loma is, could he handle Mikey's power after Mikey times him. Lome beat a powerful Walters, but he beat a Walters who was inactive. Loma complain about Salido outweighing him by 7 lbs after the loss, I'm sure Mikey will also be a lot bigger.

I don't think he is PFP#1 either, but I really don't know who is at this point. I would like to see some discussion and agreement by boxing officials and the boxing community about the criteria for PFP designation. What is important and what isn't? A list of 5 or so factors that we can agree on and then we can all debate a little less subjectively about who should be ranked where.

I would start by seeing what their record is then who they beat. Ranked wise and so forth.

Walters, Gary Russel jr. Win to. P4P top 3 Kovalov. TOP 10 Froch and so forth.

Loma has ZERO wins against P4P top 30 guys. He passes the eye test but now needs prove it.

Mikey was dominant early, but Salido survived and was getting to him. Mikey got one headbutt and used it an an easy out as the fight got tough.
