He JUST signed with haymon, and as long as he fights again in june, then no big deal. Besides, rossy hasnt been KOed in about 4 years. Stivern couldn't do it and neither could a juiced up erken teper. Lets see if Ortiz can.

Another thing, is the wba has already said that he will be AJs mandatory after he KOs wlad in under 5. Why would haymon and ortiz risk that shot on another serious contender?

I dont know why many of you are down on ortiz. He has pretty much KOed everyone put in front of him. M scott ran like a sissy from a cap gun in that fight. Cant blame ortiz for that, and he has got a true fighters attitude IMO.

Malik Scott didn't run...hell...he can't run...he was trapped on the ropes numerous times.

Scott was in there just to survive and not fight. Most of the knock downs were scott escaping the coming KO anyway. It was scott that made that fight garbage. If I was hearn, I sure wouldn't invite him back. Scott saw the a$$ whippen that ortiz gave jennings, and said F that! Im going to bring my bike to the ring.

Now Haymon controls Ortiz, he can make sure that Ortiz fights the dudes Wilder doesnt want to face and Wilder never faces Ortiz until the obvious cashout vs AJ, same as Charles Martin.. not even sure if Wilder is better than the Prince.. doubt Martin would have lost every round to Gerald Washington, lol.
