Comments Thread For: David Haye is The Latest To Entertain Facing a UFC Fighter

Former world heavyweight champion David Haye has welcomed the possibility of facing UFC star Jimi Manuwa on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather's prospective bout with Conor McGregor. Haye (28-3-KO26) is currently recovering from the Achilles surgery he underwent in the wake of the 11th-round stoppage defeat to Tony Bellew on March 3 -- but is already discussing potential future opponents.

Really the best way to promote this joke is to make it a complete side show. 2 UFC fighters in Boxing matches and 2 Boxers in MMA fights. Would not shock me at all

Notice how most of the boxers that entertain fighting UFC fighters are either retired, old, broke or jus at a low point in their careers.

Actually the best and most fair way to do it is have em do half way, in kickboxing rules with no low kicks.

How long is Haye's injury supposed to keep him on the bench?

We damn near got a full card now.

              Main Event
              Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor

              Co-Feature
              David Haye vs Jimi Manawu

              Supporting Bouts
              Jean Pascal vs Nick Diaz
Roy Jones Jr vs Anderson Silva

Just need to find some boxers to match up with Nate Diaz & Mike Perry & we good to go.

Also randomly my dream MMA vs Boxing fight in 1 year if they both keep winning is probably gonna be Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou.

Idk about that. I think kicks coming at their f#cking head is some sh^t most boxers would not be ready for. Too much of a disadvantage for boxers.

I contend that just throwing everyone in lil MMA gloves equals things out well enough or more to the point is the most even you could make it without steering an edge to strongly one way or the other.

Those lil ass gloves means that potentially any punch that lands could end a fight plus it takes away the strength of a superior defense that boxers would have.
