The split was going to be 75-25 regardless of who wins the purse bid. If Beterbiev refuses to compromise on that to make a fight, that's just another reason his fights will fall apart. Golovkin gave Jacobs way over the 25 purse bid to get that fight to happen, but to each their own.

That's the reason the fight had to be on PPV.

Duva is outright lying to everyone here.

Beterbiev is garantied 300k per fight in his contract with Gym. So she promissed Barrera would get at least 100k to 125 for the fight cause her bit would be a clear 400k (75-25) forcing Gym/Haymond to overbid in the 450-500k.

Michel was about to line his doe, when Haymond told him Duva was broke and bluffing and a 201k amount would be more than sufficient to win the purse bid. He ended up putting 251k, Duva 180k.

Just Imagine the face of Barrera when he was asked to sign her s*th.

He must have been thinking: "62k minus Main Event's services fees... If I sign this, chances am gonna be left knocked out and broke in the end are doubled". "Thank you my Agent, Yeah..."
