Calling out all champions conveniently after Gamboa is stripped of his belt, but 'not Gamboa, not yet' when he was champion and you were his mandatory. Also, he called out a bunch of names, some of whom weren't champions, the only name he refused to bring up was Gamboa.

The initial response was something about this fight not being discussed until 2013 is simply lies. He was Gamboa's mandatory in 2011 and Garcia and his team said 'not Gamboa'. That's fact.

I can't watch video right now but I will later. What belt was Garcia supposedly mandatory for??? If I remember correctly he was even a top 10 for most major belts at that time??? Let alone a #1??? Also didn't Gamboa move up his very next fight in weight???

Your kind of also comparing apple to oranges??? Yeah a 22 year old with lil to know real experience ducked a well SEASONED 29 year old Champion....GTFOH l. You would be the WORST promotor/trainer in HISTORY if you agreed to that BS.

What excuse?

Gamboa end up fighting Crawford a 10X better fighter, so no ducking on him, while Mickey also got the opportunity to fight Gamboa again at the 130 and bail out asking for money.

2 times he got the chance to fight Gamboa and didn't and now he got another chance and still making excuse.

Cmon.

Don't know what he saw in Gamboa that he's not even trying to rectify the ducking issue lobbed at him. If you ask some fans in this forum they say titles don't even matter.

Very compelling evidence! cant really argue against it that was a clear duck

Playing devil's advocate though, Mikey really was too green to be fighting a monster like gamboa back in 2011. And its not like fans were clamoring for it at that point in time. Ideally, the fight probably should have happened back in 2013-2014. i'm not too sure why the fight didnt happen then, but mikey didn't seem too excited for it either.

That being said, i would still like to see it now

I'm not even taking a shot at Mikey, I think he's excellent. I just think him mentioning a Gamboa fight even now (but still only under certain conditions) is hard to believe given past events.
