As far as skill and natural, physical attributes go, Lomachenko is up there with watching a young Ray Leonard or Mike Tyson. He has the same potential they had as young fighters but he may lack the media will and the opposition to ever achieve what they did.

Would a rematch with his only conqueror matter? I am not so sure. The fight was so long ago and Lomachenko had improved so much that he is operating on a different plane to Salido, who is nothing more than a crude, ugly brawler. A good one of course and yet Lomachenko is touching the heights of greatness.
