Yeah, I'm not sure what's taking Golovkin so long. I assume Loeffler is trying to take every last second to get assurance from GBP that Canelo fight can still happen in September. He should really get this fight signed by tomorrow and not wait until last minute.Comment

tough position for golovkin,but he just needs to decide already,oscar already said they have the contract for him to sign,he's not getting a 50/50 split and he doesn't deserve it,so if he doesn't like the offer from Oscar,sign to fight saunders and get that final belt he always talks about,if he doesn't there is also no guarantee he will fight canelo,unless he signs contract,if he doesn't decide soon he can miss fighting either one those two guys,big money fights,he's getting up there in age already so he better make up his mindComment

I think it's more of the offer that is holding up the canelo fight getting signed,oscar has said already the contract is there,he just needs to sign,if he doesn't like the amount he is being offered,simply refuse it and sign on to fight saunders and he will have all the belts which is what he really cares about,he said it last year too,he doesn't care about fighting canelo,he wants the belt and if canelo has it that's who he wants to fight,canelo doesn't have it,so if he doesn't like the offer,go fight saunders and get that final beltComment

They are talking too much. It is clear to me that Frank and Billy Joe are looking for a way out, probably have offered a laughable deal. Afterwards they will say, "Well we were well up for the fight, look how many interviews we done and how much we talked." In their ideal world Gennady Golovkin would be viewed as ducking Billy Joe Saunders. They can go on defending against the Tommy Langfords and Krusty Khytrov's of the world.Comment
