People were too hard on Gamboa in the alvardo fight. Very long layoff he was obviously rusty and was in there with a guy who knew he was losing and simply refused to try and open it up took no risks because he didn't want to get knocked out by Gamboa. Gamboa getting labeled a boring fighter because his opponent fought to not get knocked out. SMH

Gamboa was one the most exciting fighters before promoters put him on the shelf for years. with more fights to kick off the rust and opponents that won't just lay down content losing a wide decisiom and actually fight gamboa will look better.
