Happy to see Linares getting some deserved positive attention. I have been following his career since I saw him lose back to back fights and in my honest opinion he is p4p one of the most entertaining fighters to watch, why? simple he is a supremely talented glass cannon. He can kill you from any range and looks unstoppable at portions of fights but like most of us know a Linares fight can do a 180 in a split second. Now that he has racked up some good wins in the UK I would love to see how he performs against a lomachenko, Garcia, flannagan, or Easter jr. out of nowhere it seems lightweight has gotten really exciting again and I hope the ball keeps rolling for Jorge linares and the rest of the division. -

You sound ignorant. Al Haymon's PBC contracts are such "slave contracts" to use your term, that the fighters are not even allowed to criticize Haymon. That's literally in the contract, that they are not allowed to publicly criticize their boss or criticize the direction of their career. That "slave contract" again to use your term, which I do NOT agree with, is so bad that no matter how badly their "slave master," to expand on your term, messes up their career or ruins their reputation, they are not allowed to call him out publicly for it.
For example, a lot of PBC fighters have reputations as duckers. Often this is correct, but sometimes it's just because Haymon doesn't have the money to give them a fight date. But instead of being able to criticize Haymon and expose that his flailing business plan is keeping fighters on the sidelines, they have to keep quiet and let their reputation get ruined as all the fans turn against them and think they're ducking, when really they just can't get a date.
So don't say **** when you don't know what you're talking about. Slave contract? Haymon is making MILLIONS off these guys with ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. They take the criticism for his choices, while he gets to just stay in the dark, and never give interviews, never defend his fighters or answer for the bad business decisions he's making, or the bad decisions fighters get on his cards, any of that. He just gets to collect millions off the blood sweat and tears of his fighters, while they're not allowed to criticize him, and no one is allowed to ask him questions.
I mean, at least Bob Arum and Oscar De La Hoya are not scared to go on ESPN, to go in front of a mic and a camera, and answer questions about how they promote fighters. Why doesn't Haymon ever do that? You should ask yourself that question sometime...Comment

I want Loma to beat Betchelt or Miura first. He needs to beat Mexican boxers to get notice by Mexica fans. Santa Cruz ducked him and the Mikey Garcia should wait after Sosa and a unification fight with the WBC champion.Comment

If Oscar doesn't get a deal for Garcia vs. Linares, I have a feeling Arum will make Garcia vs. Lomachenko. Honestly, that's a much bigger fight, and Arum has the ability to do the PPV himself! GBP should be moving quickly to make Garcia vs. Linares!Comment
