So two guys who set up boxing fights for a living (who are pretty much arch rivals) both agree that GGG fighting in june rightfully jeopardizes the canelo fight in September.

Remember when De La Hoya fought Chávez snr.? A monster big fight. That fight took place on 18th of september 1998. And guess what. De La Hoya fought on June 13th.

If either got injured no big deal because they didn't have a Mexican date lined up they fought in June NOT sept. But again Chavez dictated this NOT Oscar and this is before fighters fought exclusively on PPV. GGG is the B side and knows canelo fight HAS to be in sept and is trying to dictate a fight that puts canelo sept PPV at risk. Oscar is why schaefer spent years not being legally allowed to promote fights. They hate each other like poison and schaefer has taken shots at him since returning. Neither has a good word to say about the other and how they do business. So the last thing schaefer wants to do is defend oscar in anything. The fact that he is says how completely ****** K2 is.
