If GGG were to fight in June, the fight with Canelo would probably be made till late June. Oscar would want maximize his profit therefore he would problaby set some big city tour for the fight and have the fighters hit some sports TV shows as well. That tour to promote the fight could take up 2 weeks or more, not to mention all the promos needed to be shot for the fight. Will the fighters have enough time to train for the fight? In a sense, Oscar is correct, K2 has never promoted any big fight so they have no clue

Why does the fight have to take place on Mexican Independence Day ? Can't they fight in October ? Besides it's looking like Floyd vs Connor will happen in September.

They can turn the GGG/Saunders fight into the promotion for his fight with Canelo. Oscar and Canelo should show up to that fight and have GGG sign the contract right there in the ring if/when he wins!

GGG has the chance to be the unified MW champ and I think he should go for it.

Truth be told, the Canelo/Chavez fight poses more of a risk for defeat or injury! Imagine GGG passsing on the unification bout and Canelo gets hurt or loses and their fight gets pushed back to next year. Lose lose for GGG in that event.
