Lee Selby now a Free Agent

And about time too. Hearn has completely stifled his career for too long. Let's see Selby in the ring with Frampton or one of the other top guys at super feather.

Who do you guys want him to fight next?

Unsurprising as Sanigar has fallen out with Hearn by the looks of things. Is he still with Haymon?

Most likely see him on C5 shows with his brother.

Maybe a good option for future ITV PPVs with Eubank Jr.

Frampton fight becomes much more makeable now

He screwed up his own career by going to Haymon and being inactive or fighting in front of small crowds that don't know who he is.

But to answer the question, he should go with a UK based promoter. He can't be built in the US unless he is just used as an opponent.

To be fair, Matchroom cannot be blamed. Lee Selby thought that he was a big enough superstar to need different promoters in Europe and the US. In reality it just created a lot of issues when it came to scheduling fights. Think Al Haymon and his people seen Selby as just another guy on the roster. Eddie Hearn tried to stage several bigger shows in Wales but for whatever reason none involving Selby ever came off.

I notice his brother Andrew Selby has been fighting on Channel 5 cards. The two of them together would sell out arenas in Wales no doubt. Andrew looks guarenteed to win a World title soon enough. The amount of talented Celtic fighters around today, I don't know why no promoters are jumping at the chance to showcase them in their own countries.
