    Chapman Determined to Impress

Part of the learning process for a young fighter is to make mistakes. And 23-year-old heavyweight prospect JD “The Natural” Chapman, 22-0 (20 KO’s), admits he made plenty in his last fight, a nationally televised TKO 3 over formerly undefeated Matt Hicks. [details]

Don't know why he is wasting his time with this rematch, but Chapman should KO this guy fairly easily.

i really had to laugh when i read this article after seeing the thread headline. i mean if he were determined to impress he would fight somebody worth a crap.

i watched the first fight chapman had against gutierrez and i was not impressed even the least bit. chapman weighed 246 for that fight and had some ***** **** on him. he is so determined to impress after that performance he packed on ten pounds for his next one.

Gutierrez is 5'10, what is chapman gaining by fighting a carpenter who is 8 inches shorter than him? i dont believe for a minute that this guy will ever succeed at the highest level.

gutierrez took chapman 12 rounds last time, and gutierrez has had split decisions against guy with records like 10-30. gutierrex also landed punches that hurt chapman in that fight, chapman landed a lot more and won the decision but he never even budges gutierrez. also, chapman fights like a woman on the inside and doesent know how to tie up a ****in show lace. at least michael moorer is done pretending to be a trainer.
