Comments Thread For: Scott Quigg Aims To Reclaim Elite Status With Freddie Roach

SCOTT QUIGG has revealed the LA sunshine has got him smiling again and how his mum is helping him enjoy life Stateside. The former WBA super-bantamweight champion has swapped Bury for the Golden State as he goes in search of a world title at featherweight. Quigg surprisingly split with long-time trainer Joe Gallagher last month to move to America and link up with legendary coach Freddie Roach.

Scott Quigg's opponent looks like Lucian Bute's father. Surprisingly he does not have a bad record and ranked top five for the IBF ; maybe Quiqqs people are headed for Lee Selby.

On another point Joe Gallagher seemed lost after Linares dropped Anthony Crolla -- I don't remember him even showing any concern. Its a good thing Quigg left that depressing dumb in the UK and come to train with the pros in the great U.S.A. Yeah those guys are amateur over their in the UK, they are better businessmen than fighters and always pimping the IBF like the whore she is.

he'd have beaten frampton if he got his arse into gear earlier. i have no idea what the hell them tactics were about, he pretty much clean sweeped the last few rounds when he started actually using his strengths, which is pressure fighting.

Joe Gallagher is not a good trainer, just look at his corner work over the weekend. Its a good move by Quigg
