Why you guys keep mentioning miguel roman ? Salido has been in countless wars and earned his stripes long ago. He is at the end of his career and deserves a big money fight. You think he gives a flying fuc about some bumazz Miguel Roman? Lmfao. Why da *** should he entertain a bumazz roman? Da *** is that supposed to do for his career.

Salido isnt known as a hard negotiator. He has earned the right to turn down certain fights if the money aint right.

I agree with this. People acting like Salido hasn't put in work. Now he's becoming smart about his business and seeing how action packed and fan friendly his fights are I can't hate on the guy for wanting to get paid, he leaves it all in the ring every time out.

Or they're trying to get Lemieux a showcase fight in the co-main event to set up Canelo vs Lemieux for September.

This fight is about to make a lot of money. Unless Salido asked for millions I doubt he priced himself out

Of course they putting Lemieux to showcase and as insurance for Sept. But lets be honest this PPV is going to sell and do big PPVs with or without Salido. And most of these PPV undercards don't get paid much they do it for the exposure. Salido has spent the last year outside the ring because he keeps complaining about money turned down Loma over money backed out the Miura fight then complained about money and clearly wanted more money to be on this undercard.

The entire Canelo/Khan undercard was paid 700K, Smith PPV I think was about half that. Canelo Chavez making all the purse money only so much left over for the undercard and if Salido is killing fights over money then Golden Boy will give someone else the spot for cheaper. It's not like Golden Boy simply said we don't want Salido on the undercard it's about money. Salido isn't a signed golden boy fighter, they arent investing in the future of Salido and he's spent the last year being unreasonable about pay.
