Maidana lost to bums like Alexander, Kotleknickers and glass jawed Khan. His couldn't even KO Khan. that is how bad his offense is.

nope we have to look at wins AND losses.

Pirog beat Jacobs and retired undefeated.

Alexander won against Maidana but took too many L's and against journeyman bums.

      Pirog > Alexander

roy jones jr is a proven PED cheat.

which other fighters started at MW?

MW fighters are grown men in most cases. historically most MW ATG's stay in that weight class. Monzon, Hagler and Hopkins. They don't do as much weight class jumping as the growing manlets.

I guess this make Golovkin a defensive genius.

Lol, well, he's obviously wrong - Golovkin does not have better defense than Floyd. However he argues with facts, which makes him very hard for you guys to argue with. The problem with his facts though is that you can't extrapolate them to the whole career of fighters. For ex, Canelo landed something like 120 punches on Floyd.

You guys need to stop trying to defend with "he was a 4 weight champion" and "Jacobs was KOd by Pirog 7 years ago". Neither one of those arguments hold water in the real world. Moving up in weight just means your body is growing, and getting knocked out when you were 22 doens't mean jack ****. Pacquaio was knocked out by some bum when he was starting out. It happens often and doesn't mean anything.

OP does highlight a good point that has always been overlooked by guys who dislike/troll Golovkin - his opponent connect % is generally very low, and he accomplishes that while being offense first, which is definitely more difficult to achieve than when you're a counterpuncher or defensive fighter first. During majority of Golovkin's fights, he eats a few highlight worthy shots/combos that make it easy to say his defense is "bad", but outside of those few, his defense is terrific.
