I think this fight will resemble a kid hitting a pinata over and over again.

When Chavez gets in shape around at 180-185 he looks strong and ripped, cutting down from there is mainly muscle and he has looked terrible weighing in under 170 since he moved up, let alone 164 and 1/2 lbs.

Canelo is far more skilled than Chavez, far better defence and punch variety. Just a better fighter all round.

If things are doing well in the Chavez training camp, like Julio being able to manage the weight, then this fight could potentially derail the Alvarez hype train. I see this as a Sergio/Chavez repeat where Jr could again potentially be peppered with punches, but won't go down. Canelo better be in perfect condition and doesn't run out of gas. Otherwise...

I'd rather see Chavez vs GGG, instead of Canelo vs GGG.

If Chavez is as fit and motivated as he was for the Martinez fight I can see him winning but I doubt very much that he can ever be that tough of a competitor ever again because he hasn't shown that degree of effort and willingness to win that he used to have. Seems like he hasn't been the same fighter since the loss to Sergio Martinez.
