Your thoughts? Incredible stuff by Holmes, really used his veteran instinct to outbox an up and coming fighter like Mercer, who had an iron chin. Holyfield and Lewis didn't handle Mercer the way Holmes did.

Mercer was a really talented operator, great chin, great power, olympic champion and tough and talented, but he wasn't a green prospect, he was actually a late starter in the pro ranks and was over 30 i believe.
