    Mikey Garcia vs Jorge Linares

Both guys want it and it's a great next step for both fighters. How do you see this playing out?

Linares makes mikey lead and befuddles him.

Youth and durability favor Mikey and I think a stiff, well timed jab is a great weapon against a combination puncher like Linares. I'm thinking Mikey in a mid to late round stoppage in a back and forth fight.

my 100% unbias opinion is that Mikey stops linares.

My only problem will GBP work with Esponza?

Mikey has never a faced a boxer as good as Linares, but Linares has also never faced anyone like Mikey.

It would be a close fight.

I expect Linares to outbox him early.

However, Garcia is much bigger and that size will catch up in the mid-to-late rounds as Linares tires.

I think this is likely later this year & was what Oscar suggested to Mikey recently although I don't believe its been confirmed. I can't see Schaefer offering something better to him.

I love Mikey's chances here & he'd for sure be my pick, but mostly I think it'll be a competitive & fun fight which is all I really care about.

Espinoza the Showtime guy? Wasn't this fight today on Showtime? Although I guess GBP wasn't promoting it himself so maybe something to your question.

Mini Burgos is a better pure boxer than Mikey, and he ran from Mikey.
