I think in general the villain role is underplayed in combat sports regardless of the angle used. Look at Ali & Jack Johnson. Look at Floyd. Look at Conor in MMA. Look at Chael Sonnen in MMA who might be the least talented guy of the bunch & look into how much money & google searches he gets to comparably talented peers.
