Yeah I'm sure he did, he was one of those hard drinking Russian tough guys, but yeah the strange thing is my mom is kind of racist against the Caucasians (the Russians with mongol blood) but she loves blacks and Indians (I live in Oklahoma)
Her best friend is black but when I was watching a Provodkin fight she actually said he wasn't Russian and looked down on him because of his ethnicity.

I fully agree, but I was lucky enough to grow up in American and have been exposed to the melting pot as opposed to my mom where she grew up in a place with really no ethnic diversity, and the diversity that was there I am sure she learned to dislike them from the others around her

I used to know a lot of Polish blokes back in London and they hate Russians themselves. The consensus being that they view Russians having no 'finesse' they always used that word too but they meant 'class' I guess. I wonder what the average Russian thinks,

People are nuts anyway. Scottish, Welsh, English, and Irish still display mild xenophobia to each other. Makes you think that you put a bunch of people together they become a bit tribal if there is anything that binds them. Even a football team can do that job never mind a nationality.
