Comments Thread For: Brook's Trainer Doesn't See Spence as Best American Welterweight

Dominic Ingle respects Errol Spence Jr.'s willingness to fight Kell Brook in Brook's hometown. Brook's trainer still doesn't see Spence as the threat he has been portrayed to be in their 12-round fight for Brook's IBF welterweight title. Ingle indicated during a press conference Wednesday that the unbeaten Spence is in for a rude awakening when he battles Brook on May 27 at Bramall Lane, a soccer stadium in Sheffield, England (Showtime; Sky Box Office).

He was the first one to take on Golovkin (got his face crushed), showed people the blueprint of how to beat him (he won 2 rounds). Daniel Jacobs nearly came close to doing that (he still lost). I'm telling you, there is something in the water in Sheffield! (or as some call hit "****field")

13 years as a pro and his best win is Shawn Porter. Brook is living of beating Porter and getting smashed by GGG. Brook turned pro in 2004 and beat Porter in 2014, so are we saying it took Brook 10 years to fight a credible opponent? What was Brook's best win before Porter? What is Brook's best win after beating Porter?
But you people keep bringing up that Spence hasn't fought anyone, Spence has been in the game for about 4 years and is doing a lot more than Brook did his first 4 years as a pro.

Spence could potentially be the best welter weight in the world and this fight could be a good indicator. As of now, beating algieri and bundu doesn't automatically mean he's better than guys like Thurman, Porter or Garcia but my eyes tell me that he is. His performance vs a higher level of opposition like brook will be the biggest indicator.

winner of this fight will be #3 at WW.

Pacquiao and Thurman the top dogs. I don't even know if Bradley still active.

              1. Pac
              2. Thurman
              3. Spence/Brook
              4. Bradley (where is he?)
              5. Danny

I would love to see the Spence/ Brook winner face Danny Garcia,, Garcia would be an exciting fight with either of the two cuz of his willingness to stand and trade. It would turn out to be a better Scrap instead of winner vs Thurman

Makes no difference where Spence is ranked anyway. He is Brooks mandatory and he is willing to go to England and challenge. That's all you need to know and to the trainer who ever he is you need to prep your man and stop talking sh*!
your not fighting anyone Brook is.

Well that gets proven in the ring. So it's Spence's chance to show and prove come May 27th
