Does it matter? The split was 75-25. Even if Beterbiev was making the same amount, 80k is still peanuts and a guy who has been in with champions should demand more than that, even if it means fighting on an undercard. I'm not even a Barerra fan..I just know that 80k isn't much of a purse after paying for gym time, sparring partners, nutrition, taxes, etc.

Would love to see Beterbiev get in with a Top Opponents before jumping in with Ward or Kovalev but doesn't seem like anybody wants to jump in with him voluntarily. Posted 2 years ago that Ward probably should worry about Beterbiev the most! Beterbiev is built more COMPACT and he can generate Power on the Inside with Short Shots he doesn't have to load up or extend he generates so much power on the shortest punches got that Mike Tyson style, fights so COMPACT clinching him will be difficult and dangerous for anybody

She bid to lose on purpose quite like Dibella did for Wilder vs Povetkin. Unfortunately Michel bid to not lose since his fighter gets the majority of the split. A smart promoter would have sold the promotional rights to someone else and had the fight this past weekend or this May.

Wow...that's exactly how Trip looked verses no hopers. Funny what happens when you fight someone who can make you miss and hit you back. Beterbiev has stone feet and limited reflexes. He has a punches chance versus anyone...but a boxer will take him deep, tire him out from frustated missing, and maybe stop him.

Look, both had moments in this fight. but...
            1. Jacobs got knock down.
            2. Jacobs was phased where he was clinching for his life.

I give him 5 rounds, and thats with weight advantage.

GGG was more of an agressor and never been in any danger.

To become a champion you have to top what the other guy did. so you need to be insane out of your mind to think Jacobs won - anything.

Gotta say I agree with Kigali on this one. I don't think The SOG is afraid of anybody. He's been in deep water with some monsters already.

Man I hope SOG vs Betterbeast or Kov vs. Betterbeast happens!

The guy who beat Chocolatito got paid 75k, Salido's purse for his fight for Vargas was around 30k. Barrera agreed to the purse bid and knew the rules. His promoter would have paid him less if they won the bid. You get paid who you fight and the size of the event. Does he really think that this fight will do a lot of revenue?

When they have so much hate for GGG they will score it for Jacobs. GGG won the fight but since it was close it is okay for them to scream robbery or that GGG was exposed. They leave out the fact that Jacobs was almost a cruiserweight in there and still got dropped and was still gunshy. GGG still undefeated and the king at MW it kills them but thats the fact.

Didn't say he would beat Ward but his style could present some problems. Ward is versatile enough to figure something out, he can work from the outside as well!

Either way I look forward to all at 175 fighting each other even after Ward vs Kovalev gets settled
