Comments Thread For: Linares-Crolla II: A Most Intriguing Rematch

There could be a feeling watching Jorge Linares defeat Anthony Crolla for the WBA lightweight title with one of his better career wins that it had finally all come together. The fighter, the promise, many believed they saw when Linares (41-3, 27 KO) burst from the pack with a win over Oscar Larios a decade ago, seemed finally to have put it all together. He boxed beautifully, fought fiercely, and stayed off the floor.

Read the article looking for the "intrigue" but didn't see any reason why we shouldn't expect more of the same. Yes, it's a great fight. I'll be watching for sure. But, Crolla was the more basic fighter so, if anything, I'd expect Linares to look even better as he'll likely have greater ability to adapt.

The rematch seems pointless but I'll watch anyway.

Linares is way more skilled than Crolla. He proved it in the first fight and he'll prove it again.

I am the Lord and Master of the Ring!

You cant be with me NO! History beacons ' El Niņo De Orgo' Jorge Linares! Crolla is going get embarrassed, as stated in the article Anthony Crolla is a overachiever hes gone far enough and exceeded all expectations but it comes to an end this Saturday ; unless Eddie Hearns pays off the Judges I don't expect to see any upset but even in a trilogy Crolla will always be the underdog between these two as such the title holders of 135 will have to see Jorge Linares one way or another by ranking or by unification! uuuuu yeaaah!
