Regular titles defenses mean as much as the WBF, NABO...minor defense's don't count and he never won the belt in the ring

Anyone with a brain knows Gomez was simply more talented and accomplished more ....by a country mile.

Good point, and I agree with you, Gomez was a better fighter.

Nope, man, Lopez was one of the biggest hitters of the weight, Nelson was a great, great fighter, the best of Africa and at that moment he had a great level, he looked like a mature fighter and gave Sal a hell of a fight.

This poll even being close shows how many dont know shiiiiiiiid about boxing.... Triple G over a proven hall of famer, P4P top 10 in the late 70s-80s ...smgdh
In this moment there is 9 votes to Wilfredo, 3 for GGG.

Gomez was a superior boxer, he was better counter puncher, better defense, better footwork, better power in his respective weight, and better boxing IQ.

He dropped Zarate with a beautiful left hand.

these passive-aggressive polls are ******ed. All it does is provide an outlet for the boxrec nerds to try and convince everyone else that they are some sort of boxing encyclopedia or something. The only comparison that matters is when 2 guys actually face each other. Everything else is just opinions

Was Douglas better than Tyson? Nope. But he still put Mike on the floor.

            What a ****** comment.

So, Orlando Salido is not inferior to Ray Robinson because they need to fight?

Gomez was a superior boxer, had more tools and had better performances vs better rivals.

And I'm a fan of GGG.

I say Gomez, but I'm partial to Gomez having seen his fights a dozen times. I just can't give the nod to GGG until his career's over and see what impact his legacy leaves on the sport.

sure, Salido is inferior to SRR. And Bruce Seldon is inferior to Ali. So whats your point?
