      Newark?

First Lomachenko in MD and now Crawford in Newark.

One of these days.... We'll get a damn big fight in LA.

        Last I remember was Brook-Porter

What does PBC have to do with this matchup? I don't get it

            Maybe for Shakur Stevenson?

Crawford weighs 160 in the ring, wish he would just move up to 147 already. There is no one at 140 unless Mikey Garcia fights him.

I just want to see good fights, man. This could be a decent fight but it's low risk. Diaz has a sub-50% knockout ratio, 3 inch reach disadvantage. So he's at a deficit both in boxing tools (reach) and punching tools (power). He really has no physical advantages. Crawford is also 3 inches taller, and faster.

So it's an improvement, and I will tune in, but I want to see the real fights. Crawford vs Thurman. Crawford vs Mikey. Crawford vs Loma but only if Loma can somehow get on the Pacquiao workout routine and magically get way bigger. Crawford-Spence would be nice if Spence beats Brook and Thurman. That's a fight that shouldn't be marinated, just do it next year. Great fights make great fights. There will always be another challenge. Just make the best fights already.

This is a good fight, but still looks one-sided to me. Crawford is bigger, taller, longer, faster, and more powerful. The only way Diaz wins is if Crawford's technique is overrated and Diaz can outbox him despite every physical disadvantage, which is very, very rare. You have to be a talent like GGG to be able to do something like that, as we saw against Jacobs. And GGG's power was a huge factor in that as well. Diaz does not have a power jab like that or the power in general, so... this matchup is getting a bit overrated by fans and media. Diaz does not really have the tools to make this a contest. It will be 100% up to him pulling a rabbit out of his hat and just completely befuddling Crawford with tricky techniques or something, but I doubt that happens.

Next time out, Crawford should face someone with speed and power, not just one or the other.

                Like both guys.
Glad that Diaz is finally getting this chance.
He has been calling out Bud for quite some time.
Now lets see what he does with this chance.
I think he is a VERY live dog.
Respect to Bud for taking this real challenge against a fighter who is not even his mandatory.

Nice pick, giving up too much reach. Bud will box circles around him. Bud will work his angles with Diaz at the end of his jab. There are blood and guts monsters and there are artists. Bud is a monster artist.

Still not seeing why people think so much of Felix Diaz, a guy who we've already seen one way to beat him and has a pathetic KO record in comparison. What could he possibly bring to the table that Gamboa or Matthysse didn't?
