lol nice job posting a story that took place a year AFTER Arum offered Avalos. The offer came in 2013 BEFORE Agbeko, but you post an article from a year later? lol whatever clown.....Comment

Link it, fool. All this is beside the point anyhow as Agbeko is better than Avalos.
Agbeko was a good fight on paper, he always brung it. Nobody knew he would pull a Clottey.Comment

Peace my dude, I aint startin no problem wit you, just debating. Now how is "not performing" when he knocked down nonito, lumping him up and won the fight? Plus that Asian dude he fought, didn't the Asian dude Knock Rigo. down and Rigo lumped him up the rest of the fight? But as soon as bob says it was "boring" its the same exact thing fans, certain commentators and journalist repeat....bob is hurting a man that puts his life in the ring on the line. To me it would be personal if I was a pro under bob I would have some words for him and fire his ass. After all who is the REAL boss? You not the promoter. Fighters and fans need to wake up like Floyd did...I'm gonna let you in on a little secret cause I really dunno you and I don't want any problems with you, I'm Cuban and I actually enjoy Rigo. I was just messing around.
That being said, I don't blame Arum and the media 100% for whatever smear campaign they ran. Rigo was also at fault for not performing when he needed to.
Also, there's a common trend with Cuban fighters. They normally end up in some managerial/promotional rift and it's most likely cause they aren't familiar with the system and since they come from poverty and most likely are just quick to sign the dotted line without any knowledge. So I don't think he's ******. Just not knowledgeable enough.Comment

Contract or no contract, no one with TV behind them is going to put Rigondeaux at the forefront because the money isn't coming in to Rigo.
Have him travel around the world, work with making the fights economically viable for whomever is willing to put up the money, and then come back to TV with a story that can be sold. lolComment

Rigondeaux is going to be the chief support on Miguel Cotto's next fight card, putting his purse in his pocket and giving him a chance to feature on a pretty meaningful TV spot.
Roc Nation is working with what they've got, especially under the likelihood that Rigondeaux isn't willing to take shorter money.Comment

The ability is of no consequence; for Rigondeaux to be watchable for a non-hardcore fan, he's got to be matched against fighters willing to bring the fight to him.
Rigondeaux is pretty awe-inspiring when he gets the chance to play the matador; slipping just off of a shot, countering with sharp skills, etc. Put a matador in their with something other than a bull, and the matador doesn't look all that impressiveComment

The Asian (assuming you're talking about Amagasa) dude was off TV therefore when it didn't count. Nobody watched that ****. Was the Francisco fight even televised? Then you have the ****ens fight which was also not televised.
He's damaging/stopping fighters when it doesn't count (off TV).Comment

It wasn't Hagler vs Hearns, but it also wasn't a boring fight. Similar to how Golovkin vs Jacobs, wasn't boring, or how Kovalev vs Ward wasn't boring. Some of you are just haters lol.Comment

Rigondeaux should have signed with Haymon, instead of Roc Nation. Roc Nation has him fighting once a year. He doesn't need to wait until Cotto fights again. Hopefully Haymon puts it on Showtime or a PBC show. Flores is a Haymon fighter.Rigondeaux is going to be the chief support on Miguel Cotto's next fight card, putting his purse in his pocket and giving him a chance to feature on a pretty meaningful TV spot.
