Chavez Jr. is training in higher Altitude than Big Bear! Chavez Sr. confident

Chavez Sr. is saying that training in the area where Nacho is pushing Chavez Jr. is the reason why he knocked out Meldrick Taylor, or else he wouldn't have won and gone the distance.

Here's the segment of Mexico's ''Big Bear'' region from ESPN interviewing JCC

    Mexico's Temoaya - Elevation 8,760 ft

Big Bear Lake Summit Gym : 6,750 ft

If Chavez Jr. makes weight. We owe a lot of credit to Nacho and Julio's motivation. Considering those eating habits and spliffs.

Ironically, this might be the best form of JCC Jr. ever. Too bad this discipline didn't start earlier in his career.

Good luck to Chavez, but I would be utterly shocked if he pulls this off

That's also were Plasterito used to train. One thing he had was incredible stamina.

Pulls it off as in SD still going to Alvarez. Or a close fight. or some Gatti vs Ward type stuff. Or the PPV.

If this fight is like anything like above. The Chavez family and fans will be asking for a higher weight come rematch. Then that PPV will be another huge thing. Seems like a serious fight and Junior is holding himself in. Let's see how HBO directed them to act for the HBO Face to Face special.

Also the rematch might change their attitudes towards one another. For instance more memes and taunting by ChavezJr. There might be more hunger and intensity from both come the rematch.

It's all great for boxing. at least it's consistent whereas the anomaly of Conor vs Floyd

If Chavez wins 3 rounds there will be a rematch, cause a Canelo-Chavez rivalry brings much more money than a Canelo-Golovkin rivalry

Chavez will never win a decision against Canelo. Remember Amir Khan won the first four rounds but was losing in the judges eyes.

He needs a KO to win and I don't see him knocking out Canelo.

Props to Jr. For finally training the way most fighters do every camp. It hard for me to give the kid a standing ovation tho for doing the right thing. We don't see Canelo's camp celebrating how hard dude is training (We already know he is). I'm all for motivation but don't really give him much of all chance in this fight. (Hopefully Canelo don't retire this guy)

Amir Khan won 4 rounds? Were you high? I gave Khan 1 and 2, but Canelo won 3 and 4. Putter patter jabs don't mean much when you're being timed and countered.
