jacobs definitely will do better in rematch, if golovkin couldn't find method to cope his speed, i don't think he'll get ko-ed but jacobs has great chance to decision him convincingly

Perceived unbeatable fighters like Golovkin and Mayweather will have a tiny payout. Relatively unknown fighters like Jacobs, will be given great odds to encourage people to bet on them. "Golovkin had problems with someone with 8-1******** odds" is misleading. Golovkin had problems with the second best middleweights in the world.
Had Golovkin been fighting Canelo instead of Jacobs, the odds would have been much closer, not because Canelo of better than Jacobs, but because he is a star and his fans will bet on him.

Odds change with how many people bet. The fact that Jacobs was still a massive underdog means nobody was betting on him. People didn't bet on him because they didn't believe he could win. They didn't believe he could win because he's a B level fighter and thought Golovkin was A level.

Jacobs was the WBA mandatory for Golovkin and isn't even ranked by the IBF. He has/had absolutely no reason to adhere to their 10 pound rule. A win would have still made Jacobs a unified Middleweight champion.
