I don't get why everyone is moving up in weight

Why are all light welters moving up to welter..if they all moved back down...it would be the best division by far as some lighter weights Freitas, Castillo, Corralles could move in..
    It would be great..
Why are are they all moving to welter?
    Are they following mayweather

Castillo can't even make 140. He has to move up.

He can't make 135 without struggling. He should be and stay at 140 and could legitimately fight at 147.

Floyd wanted to go after Judah, because Judah held and undisputed title and Floyd saw little risk and decent money/reward in fighting him. Then he could run the show and control who he fought. Once you get an undisputed title, then you really don't have to fight the best. If HBO is behind you, and the sanctioning fees are to everyone's liking, then you'll keep your belts and can pick and choose your fights. It's the old RJJ show at LHW and I think Floyd was trying to emulate it. Roy did what he wanted and fought who he wanted and that was that. Baldomir threw a wrench in the works so now Floyd is chasing the DLH lottery.

Castillo and Corrales are 140 lb fighter who kill themselves to make 135, and have for awhile. Castillo needs to move up.

Corrales is exceptionally good at it, so I say he should stay down there as long as he can.

Freitas doesn't seem strong enough to fight at 140, so I think he should stay at 135 and try to make a rematch with Diego and get that quitting nightmare behind him.

Hatton can fight at 147 as long as he fights the 140 guys moving up, and stays away from the 147/154 guys. I think he could handle Gatti/Baldomir. He should either fight that winner, or look at Corrales/Castillo winner.

            mechslave, that was such B.S.

Guys are moving up because, whats the use of everyone being in the same division if no one fights eachother.

Floyd haters always want to blame him but who did he duck at 140? He stayed at 140 for a good while and couldnt get none of the big fights. It took Gatti forever to fight him and he was the only one. He asked Hatton and Ricky said NO, just like he is still saying today but everyone wants to blame Floyd for not fighting him. Joke. He wanted to fight Cotto but Arum said no.

Why would Floyd stay at 140 when there was no one to fight? Frietas also turned him down and he fought all the other guys at 135. He had no choice but to move up.

Other then that, no one has really moved up except for Hatton and anyone who saw his only fight at 147 knows that he will be back down at 140 real fast.
