We all knew up to the fight that Ward was not the same fighter that he used to be. Everyone mentioned that all the time and it was obvious from his recent fights following his long break from the sport. His reflexes were just not the same as they used to be. He managed to beat Kovalev in a tough fight, though. How would this fight have gone if Ward was still in his prime? IMO, if the Super Six Ward were to move up and fight Kovalev after 1-2 tuneups, then I think Ward would win every round.

He was a lighter in his prime. So if the extra weight didn't affect him and no long layoff he'd win. Lost this one though..We all knew up to the fight that Ward was not the same fighter that he used to be. He already beat him. If he was in his prime, there would have been no lucky knockdowns from Kovalev.
LOL at people now suddenly denying that Ward was past his prime for the fight. Everyone knew it, but now, they suddenly forgot. So pathetic ...Comment
